These are absolutely adorable invitations. I used them for my daughter's first birthday party & received at least a hundred compliments on them. At 12 months, she doesn't know the Disney princesses or any other TV character, for that matter. I thought that the cupcake was the perfect girly theme for a child who doesn't have Dora on the brain. They were also very easy to assemble - don't pay the extra $30 to have them do it. The only downside, in my eyes, is seeing the invitations my sister-in-law purchased for my nephew (who is 2 weeks younger) from shutterfly that have his photo and cost half what I paid.

I LOVED the overall quality, look, and make of this product. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because I was disappointed by the size of it; I was expecting it to be about half the size.

Very cute invitations for my daughter's 1st birthday. The cupcake and candle come separate and you have to pull them out of the paper perforation and insert the candle into the cupcake. This didn't take long at all, but it did leave a rough edge that looked really really bad. I used a emory board to file down all the edges, and that's where the time sinker was.
